Job Title: CCRW Supervisor – Youth the Future National 2.0 Program (1 position available)
Start Date: Early summer 2020 (Pending Final Project approval)
Location: Flexible
Program: YTF: National 2.0
Duration: Summer 2020 – May 2023
Salary Range: $52,000 – $55,000

Scope and Purpose:
Reporting to, and working directly with the YTF National Program Manager, the Supervisor supports small, remote 2-3-person service teams in achieving results and delivering high quality service. The Supervisors will support remote frontline staff performance, development and engagement. As the YTF program pivots into virtual program delivery, this position requires more than ever, the ability to proactively identify program needs and troubleshoot challenges from a community based, intersectional approach. The Supervisor takes thoughtful and purposeful action at every turn and remains in communication at all times.

Who are you:

The Supervisor is an engaging, intuitive and self-motivated individual able to establish, maintain and enhance relationships with individual program staff as well as motivate small, remote 2-3-person site teams. The Supervisor empowers frontline staff to service excellence via regular program management meetings, team building initiatives, and proactively building participatory site action plans to maximize individual site and program results, ensuring that the Program Manager is apprised of progress on a consistent basis. This individual is extremely independent with organized, dynamic and creative approaches to problem-solving, possessing demonstrated experience in social service delivery and job development/sales.

General Duties:

  • Lead 4+ remote teams at 2-3 staff per team, to achieve highest performance levels and exceed target projections, troubleshooting challenges with a hands-on, approachable leadership style.
  • Utilizing a flexible and adaptive approach, supervise and support remote teams with all aspects of program service delivery, from accommodations and case management to job development from a community-based, intersectional approach.
  • Work with staff to ensure virtual workshop delivery is effective and well-integrated.
  • Proactively engage team relationship enhancement within each site, program and amongst CCRW-wide staff.
  • Step in to directly assist in job development, and employer support efforts as required.
  • Under supervision of the National Manager complete annual performance reviews and planning for all site staff. Provide regular team-based and individualized supervision and coaching.
  • Ensure all program tracking elements, from trackers to Salesforce, are accurate and updated at all times. Remain up to date with each site’s stats and proactively engage with site teams to ensure timelines remain as projected.
  • Provide management, organization and necessary support of IT and site location infrastructure; ongoing management and identification of necessary office space needs and requirements.
  • Coordinate certain HR or administrative items related program staff, from documentation to onboarding and training
  • In collaboration with National Manager, facilitate on-going training and professional development for staff
  • In collaboration with the National Manager, develop, support, contribute to and participate in all aspects of the program design and evolution
  • Identify and support new opportunities and strategies to improve program delivery and ensure a smooth program transition
  • As directed, perform administrative tasks relating to the delivery of the Program, including the preparation of statistical and other reports required by CCRW and Service Canada.
  • Ability to travel frequently and as needed to remote site offices.
  • Completes other duties as assigned by the National Manager and/or CEO/COO


  • High drive to take action (“batteries included”) with demonstrated talent to foster stability, creativity and continuous improvement in diverse teams
  • Straightforward communication style, interested to discuss ideas, feedback, and problem solve
  • Effective job development and/or recruitment skills. Expertise and/or in depth understanding of employment-focused case management and employer outreach/employer services
  • Experienced workshop facilitation skills and thorough understanding of effective teaching strategies and learning exceptionalities, utilizing in-person as well as virtual platforms.
  • Practical experience with Disability accommodations and service provision from an intersectional approach, to persons with Disabilities (visible/non-visible as well as physical/non-physical)
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex client cases and ensure that accommodations are successfully implemented in the workshop and workplace.

  • Post-Secondary Degree, majoring in a human behavior or other applicable field
